Kerwin Rae was a motivational speaker and business coach, who toured Australia advising his masses of followers about success, entrepreneurial goals, relationships and more. Based in Byron Bay, he had more than 665,000 followers on Instagram alone.
His family announced his death with a heartbreaking statement on social media, describing the “unimaginable sense of loss” they felt.

The statement said: “Kerwin was a force of nature, there are countless stories to be told and so many words that could describe the epic human he was, but right now we are too overwhelmed to express them. To everyone who had the privilege of knowing him – whether as a friend, mate, mentor, or family member – please keep this extraordinary soul in your thoughts and hearts.
“Kerwin would always light a candle and say a prayer for someone who passed; if you’d like to honour him in the same way, please light a candle for Kerwin today, say a prayer for his soul, for his sons Noah and Jonah, for his family and friends who will miss his physical presence, but carry his memory in their hearts forever.
“We kindly ask for privacy as we begin to grieve and find a way forward, with plans to celebrate the incredible father, brother, son, friend, and mentor that he was to so many.”
“Rest in eternal peace, dear Kerwin.”
